Recent Projects Include: 

  • Egyptian Transport Company

Provided advice on how to restructure the Client's business to become a 3PL and effectively compete with the leading global players.  The project comprised interviewing competitors, visiting existing platforms and undertaking research to identify opportunities and the best location for developing a distribution centre.

  • Post Office – Europe – Market Sizing / Segmentation

Undertook a detailed market sizing exercise into each of the Client's segments, including identifying the size, market shares and forecasts.  The study included both secondary and primary research (interviews with the main competitors in each segment).  Ti also developed a number of bespoke models for this project.

  • Consumer Electronics Manufacturer – Europe – Competitor Analysis

Ti undertook an in-depth secondary research study into the Client's main European competitors' logistics strategies.  The competitors' distribution networks were investigated and profiled, along with any strategies for change in the future.

  • Major CPG Company - Europe – Competitor / Peer Analysis

An in-depth analysis of the Client's main European competitors' logistics strategies.  A mix of interviews and secondary research was used in this project.

 

  • Global Pharmaceutical Company – Europe – Supply Chain Restructuring

One of the world's leading healthcare companies asked Ti to assist it to restructure its European supply chain. The project involved secondary research, in order to identify the existing networks adopted by key competitors, as well as inadepth interviews with 18 of the Client's main competitors.

 

  •  Major Integrator – CIS & Southern Europe - Express Market Sizing

Ti has recently completed a detailed market sizing exercise in the express and postal markets in Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Serbia.  The project involved face-to-face interviews with competitors, as well as secondary research, in order to segment the markets.

  • US Express Parcels Company – Turkey - Market Sizing / Entry Study

An in-depth study into the express parcel market in the emerging market of Turkey.  This study involved an overview of the business environment in the country (including PESTLE developments), composition of the express sector, identification and profiling of the main competitors (local and international) and market sizing / growth estimates.

  • 3PL - Russian Logistics Market – Market Entry Strategy

In-line with a major Asian consumer electronics manufacturer Ti undertook an analysis of the Russian logistics market, with particular emphasis on investigating customs procedures and identifying effective legal methods of importing goods.

  • 3PL - UK Freight Market – Segmentation Exercise

Assessment of the UK pallet market, with a view to assisting the client in developing a tailored approach to targeting different vertical sectors.

  • Property Developer – Mexico - Logistics Property Market Sizing

Ti provided an overview of the logistics property market in Mexico, including composition of the market, identification and profiling of main players, market sizing, growth rates, build to suit verses speculative, average sizes, average contract lengths, buying behaviour, etc.

An overview of the logistics property market in various European countries, including composition of the market, identification and profiling of main players, market sizing, growth rates, build to suit verses speculative, average sizes, average contract lengths, buying behaviour, etc.

  • Integrator – Chinese and Russian Express Markets – Market Sizing and Competitor Profiling Study

Ti assisted a US integrator in sizing the Chinese and Russian express markets.  The projects also involved identifying and profiling the key international and domestic competitors, as well as main originating cities and export channels. 

  • Integrator - UK– Identification of Major Express Shippers

Identification of major parcel shipper segments, including the largest companies, and an estimate of the annual volumes shipped by these organisations.

  • Global Express Company – Global - Market Trends Analysis

Ti was tasked with the production of a quarterly market trends report, identifying and commenting on how developments in a number of area (including PESTLE, trade flows, vertical sectors and competitors) impacted on the clients own operations. 

  • Multi-National Integrator – Global - Competitor Tracking

Ti provided a multi-national integrator with an ongoing, monthly, competitor tracking bulletin.  This project involved a mix of secondary and primary research and involved a high level of detailed analysis, providing the client with a number of key strategic questions to be answered by senior management.

  • 3PL - Irish / Northern Irish Freight Market – Market Sizing and Segmentation Exercise

Assessment of the pallet market in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, with a view to assisting the client in developing a tailored approach to targeting different vertical sectors.  The project involved secondary research, market sizing modeling and in-depth interviews with competitors to the Client.

  • French Logistics Sector - Market Entry Study

Ti was instructed to advise a major UK 3PL on plans to acquire a French transport / warehousing company.  The project comprised an overview and composition of the market, an analysis of the key competitors, market size and growth estimates, and intelligence on the success of previous acquisition attempts by non-French businesses.

  • US Shipping Company – Operational Due Diligence

Ti was instructed by a US Private Equity firm to examine an acquisition opportunity.  This included identifying commercial opportunities, matching these to the target's existing service / asset capabilities, as well as prospects to resell the business after a period of development. 

  • European Logistics Company – Market Positioning

Providing in depth information and analysis on competitor companies, including SWOT analysis, financials, operational, market information, strategies, etc. Positioning the company in terms of competitive advantage/disadvantage against its competitors.

  • Global CPG Manufacturer – Restructuring

Provided both primary and secondary research in order to assist in the redesign and restructuring of the Group's European distribution network.

  • French Pallet Network – Partner Identification / Rates Study

Identification of new partner companies to create a French pallet distribution model, similar to that of the UK parent company.

 

  • Logistics Property Developer – UAE – Logistics Market Overview

Ti undertook a secondary research project in order to provide the Client with an overview of the logistics market in the UAE. 

 

 

  • Trailer Leasing Business – Europe – Strategic Repositioning Project

One of the largest global leasing companies asked Ti to assist it to reposition its product line in the European market place.  Ti undertook a review of the Client's offering, investigated the competitive environment and surved in excess of 1,500 customers / potential customers in order to gain a better understanding of their precise requirements and perceptions of the Client.  A strategy was then developed on how the Client could best serve this market.
