Eyefreight, a provider of transport management system (TMS) technology, has announced the appointment of Geoffrey Finlay and Ken Fleming to the positions of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, respectively. Both Finlay and Fleming join Eyefreight with immediate effect.

The company stated: "Together they will drive and execute the strategic, operational and revenue goals for the organisation, staying true to the company's tenets of innovation, customer service and sustainability."

With more than 35 years of experience in the software and computer technology industries, Finlay has acted as CEO for UK- and US-based public companies, and held chairmanships as well as non-executive director roles in public and venture-backed businesses. Previous positions include chairman of UDEX Ltd. and CEO at Kewill Systems, where Finlay first worked with Fleming.

Suttons, the global bulk logistics provider, has announced the appointment of Jochen Krapp as Regional Director of Asia.

Krapp takes up this new position after 15 years with Suttons, most recently as Regional Vice President Business Development Asia & Middle East.

Starbucks Coffee Company announced that it has appointed Deverl Maserang as an executive vice president, leading the company's Global Supply Chain Organization.

In this role, he will be accountable for end-to-end supply chain operations spanning manufacturing, engineering, procurement, distribution, planning, transportation, inventory management and worldwide sourcing.

Maserang joins Starbucks from Chiquita Brands International, bringing more than two decades of leadership in global supply chain operations. In his previous role, he was responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain function of approximately 20,000 employees. Prior to that, he held a variety of supply chain roles at Pepsi Bottling Group, UPS, along with leading various start-ups in the areas of industrial engineering, operations and supply chain management.
