Yodel has announced the appointment of Neil Lloyd as the company's new Chief Executive. Lloyd joins Yodel from ISS, the global facilities services business, where he was chief operating officer of the UK division. In this role he led a team of 20,000 employees, with responsibility for managing relationships with clients including RBS, Morgan Stanley, PwC, Heinz and Tubelines.

Lloyd was previously chief executive at Netstore plc and NHS Professionals Ltd and has also held senior roles at Harvey Nichols and Ottakars Bookstores. He will report directly to Executive Chairman Dick Stead.

Dick Stead said: "I am delighted to welcome Neil to Yodel. His presence will strengthen our senior team as we look to build on the successes of Christmas and further develop our services in 2013. I am confident that Neil's particular experience in customer service and change management will enable us to firmly establish Yodel as the pre-eminent delivery service in the UK."

Neil Lloyd said: "I am very pleased to be joining Yodel at this exciting period in its development. I am keen to ensure that Yodel develops a reputation for first class customer service through cultural change and innovation."

Penske Logistics announced the appointment of two senior vice presidents.

Joe Carlier has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Sales from his previous role as Vice President of Sales in the company's Central region. Carlier has 25 years of sales and operations experience in transportation and logistics.

During his 17 years with Penske Logistics, Carlier held several sales and operations leadership roles including Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Operations, Director of Sales and General Manager of Operations. He will be based at the headquarters of Penske Logistics in Reading, Pennsylvania.

New to Penske Logistics is Jeffery A. Bullard. He now serves as Senior Vice President of Operations in the company's Central region. Prior to joining Penske Logistics, Bullard was with the private equity firm, Transportation Resource Partners (TRP). While with TRP he served as Chief Executive Officer of Versant Supply Chain.

Maersk Line has announced that its Chief Commercial Officer, Lucas Vos, has decided to leave the company. He will leave his position as head of the commercial part the business and member of the Maersk Line Management Board as of May 1, 2013.

Lucas Vos joined Maersk Line in 2006 as Area Manager for Spain. In 2008, he left that role to become Chief Process Manager. After four years in this position, Vos became Chief Commercial Officer. Before joining Maersk Line, he held a number of management roles at P&O Nedlloyd.

"Lucas Vos has been part of the top management team in Maersk Line for the past five years. He has been an integral part of turning the company around with the ambitious streamLINE programme and lately contributed to the plan of making Maersk Line the most profitable player in the industry", said Maersk Line CEO Søren Skou. "I would like to take the opportunity to thank Lucas for his efforts and the good collaboration. We are sad to see him go and wish him best of luck."

The company announced that as of yet, there is no decision regarding succession plans, but the process has been initiated.
