DHL Express develops new hub in Switzerland

DHL Express in Switzerland has begun the development of its largest and most modern distribution centre. In addition to handling parcels and managing transport operations, the Swiss express operator will also manage its commercial activities and marketing from the facility through a complex of offices which can accomodate 420 employees.

The relocation of the sales departments and marketing of Zurich to Regensdorf and the regrouping of the transport terminals of Schlieren, T├Ągerwillen and Schaffhouse will allow the creation of 230 jobs - mainly in the commercial sector and in management. The construction will last 15 months and it will eventually cover 33,500m.
