Bernard Auton
Bernard is a logistician and economist. He worked in the US and Europe selling automated vehicle systems and then material handling fleets for Caterpillar. He returned to the UK to lead the lift truck dealership for Finning before joining Unipart Logistics to manage the provision of 4th party logistics services to clients including Vodafone, HP and 3. Since 2004 Bernard has provided supply chain and logistics consultancy services to clients working in fields as varied as fashion retail, capital goods manufacturing, & construction materials. In 2006 he formed the Humanitarian & Emergency Logistics Professionals – HELP Forum at the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT), Bernard is also a Fellow, Director and Trustee of the CILT.
